This will be the spring route, incorporating a valley with a river run with more obstacles to contend with.

Raising over £45,000 so far, for the Army Benevolent Fund, as well as other charities.

This is a unique obstacle course race as it features the KRYPTON FACTOR assault course, as seen on TV & Film, the most famous and arguably the hardest assault course in the UK.

A choice of 5km, min 38 obstacles and 10km, min 53 obstacles. Off road routes that depending on time of year, as spring routes are different to autumn, include marsh, bog, woodland, rough hilly ground interspersed with tracks and fields, and if that was not enough, at the end you will encounter 800 metres of deep mud and water between 24 plus obstacles to negotiate on route to the finish. The obstacles are evenly, tightly spread around the course. They are large and over half have more than one component to them, to climb, jump, wade, swing and crawl over and under. It will seem endless and you will need to dig deep and muster every bit of stamina to maintain your pace and position. The harder you push yourself, the more intense it will become and relief will only come when you cross the famous double K's finish line of the Krypton factor. This race is designed to minimise queuing at obstacles and run by ex parachute regiment soldiers, who know tough.

The races are held on Aske estate just outside Richmond North Yorkshire. A private estate set in beautiful rolling countryside right next to the Yorkshire dales national park.

Entry fee is £42 per entrant for the 10km course, or £30 per entrant for the 5km course. Teams are welcome. Be aware that there are a limited number of places for this race.Early bird entrance, Book before end of September 2024 and pay £38 10km, £28 5km.

The minimum age for the 10km route is 16yrs.

The minimum age for the 5km route is 14yrs (must be accompanied by an adult/guardian).
